What can we offer?
Our day courses are targeted at those people visiting Sydney on a conference – either on a spouse’s programme, or a team building exercise.
We offer the opportunity for small groups (12- 15) to explore an environment close to the city, yet taking them to the heart of the Australian culture. We are situated on a restored aboriginal site, surrounded by peaceful and idyllic bushland with breathtaking views over Sydney Harbour and across to Watson’s Bay’
Our day courses are structured to begin with a short bush walk – followed by sketching and painting and concluding with a lecture on the local history of art and artists who have lived in the area.
All materials are included – just wear comfortable old-ish clothes.
We provide morning tea and lunch can be taken at a variety of restaurants in the area, including The Tearoom – in the historic Gunners’ Barracks on Georges Head with magnificent, point-blank harbour views. The Tearoom serves traditional silver-service afternoon tea, and a la carte lunch.
Cobbittee Art School is also able to provide a catered lunch on site at the Art School.
